MARTIN ENTWISTLE, FOUNDER OF ALL ABOUT THE BEER, SHARES HIS THOUGHTS ON 5 OF THE BEST SESSION ALES HE THINKS YOU SHOULD TRY.
1) Magic Rock Saucery (3.9% ABV)
A wonderful Pale Ale that is everything this style should be. It is light and tropical and comes in at an ABV where you can enjoy a few of them.
2) Crate Pale Ale (4.5% ABV)
A fresh and highly sessionable Pale ale that nails giving you flavour but is also very accessible, what's not to love.
3) Siren Lumina (4.2% ABV)
OK so you are getting the trend, I like my Session ales to be light and fruity with a moreish flavour. Lumina ticks those boxes.
4) Five Points Pale (4.4% ABV)
Along with its baby brother the XPA this Ale is a little maltier and hoppier than some of the above but is still a beautifully balanced beer. Best served cold.
5) Brewboard Bambino (5.1% ABV)
This is a little stronger and hoppier than the rest of this list but still works well and you can easily pop open 4 or 5 after a hard days work
